Notice of road closure for military drills in Vinh city

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued urgent Official Dispatch No. 6508/UBND-NC regardingroad banserving the live drill to handle situations to ensure security and order in Vinh City on August 29, 2022. Specifically as follows:

Close barriers, prohibit all vehicles from participating in traffic (except vehicles carrying delegates, vehicles carrying leaders participating in directing the exercise, vehicles of officers, soldiers and vehicles serving the exercise) from entering the following routes:

72m route: From the intersection with Truong Van Linh Street to the roundabout intersection of Quan Bau.

Lenin Road: From the intersection with Hoang Phan Thai Street to the intersection with Phu Yen - Tan Phu Street.

Road closure period: From 14:00 to 18:00 on August 29, 2022.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to develop a plan to direct traffic flow and regulate traffic during the road closure period according to regulations, ensuring security, order and traffic safety, and preventing traffic congestion during the road closure period.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Vinh City People's Committee to direct functional units to temporarily open the median strip at the intersection of Hoang Phan Thai Street and VI Le Nin Street to separate traffic, guide, ensure traffic order and safety, and avoid traffic congestion during the road closure period; to be completed before 14:00 on August 29, 2022.

The Provincial Radio and Television Station was assigned to announce the road ban on NTV channel. The Vinh City People's Committee directed the City Center for Culture, Sports and Communications to announce the road ban on mass media so that people would know and comply.
