(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 2,000 packs of cigarettes without valid documents transported on passenger buses were discovered and seized by authorities.
At 6:15 a.m. on July 24, the Traffic Police Team of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Nghe An) was on duty at km 413 of National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District, and discovered that a passenger bus with license plate 51B 02269 driven by Truong Doan Thi, born in 1974, residing in Quarter 4, Phu Ha Ward, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province, was exhibiting suspicious signs. The task force signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection.

Through that, 1,930 packs of foreign-made 555 cigarettes without valid documents were discovered on the vehicle.
The working group has made a record of temporary detention and handed over to Dien Chau Police for handling according to the provisions of law.
