The candidate with the highest score in the 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An province in the 2020-2021 school year was Bui Thu Trang - Ho Xuan Huong Secondary School (Quynh Luu) with 47.3 points, ranked 2nd was Tran Thu Ha, a student of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School (Vinh City) with 47.1 points.

According to the schedule of the Department of Education and Training, on August 7, the admission scores for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School will be approved and announced; on August 12, the admission scores for Provincial Ethnic Minority High School and Provincial Ethnic Minority High School No. 2 will be approved and announced; on August 14, the additional scores (if missing) for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and other provincial ethnic minority schools will be approved, and the English class at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and the English class at Huynh Thuc Khang High School with international English certificates will be approved.
