Currently, his farm has nearly 100 wild boars, including 14 breeding piglets. Sharing some techniques for raising wild boars, Mr. Trung said: Wild boars are easier to raise than domestic pigs because they have high resistance and are less susceptible to diseases.

Raised by semi-grazing method, wild boar food is easy to find so the cost of raising is low. The main food is elephant grass, corn bran, cassava pulp mixed with water for drinking. The most important thing in raising wild boar is that the barn system must ensure ventilation, large yard, clean water ditch for pigs to bathe... suitable for their eating and living habits. Besides, it is also very necessary to do a good job of hygiene and disease prevention for the pig herd.

In 2015, his family sold 180 pigs, at the price of 150,000 - 180,000 VND/kg of pork and 200,000 VND/kg of breeding pigs. After deducting expenses, his family earned more than 500 million VND.

Not only raising wild boars, Nguyen Cong Trung's farm also grows 3 hectares of aromatic roots that are in harvest season, 1 hectare of commercial tea, 2 hectares of fish ponds, more than 400 xa doai orange trees and 300 black canarium trees.
