The Prime Minister offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, commemorating the 111th anniversary of his departure to find a way to save the country.

Also attending the incense offering ceremony were Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, leaders of central and Ho Chi Minh City departments, ministries, branches and agencies.

111 years ago, on June 5, 1911, at Nha Rong Wharf, Saigon - Gia Dinh City (now Ho Chi Minh City), the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh, then just 21 years old, boarded the ship Amiral La Touche De Tréville, to find a way to save the country.

This is an event of special significance to the destiny of the Vietnamese people and of Vietnam. He said: "I want to go abroad to see France and other countries. After seeing how they do it, I will return to help our people."

Nha Rong Port became the starting point on his revolutionary path, where opened the journey of will, belief and aspiration to find a way to save the country, liberate the nation, the journey towards noble human values, for the cause of building and developing the country and people in the future.

On the path to save the country, President Ho Chi Minh came to Marxism-Leninism, to the path of proletarian revolution.

Following the path that he chose, the Vietnamese revolution has gone from victory to victory. Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and prestige as today. Our people are increasingly prosperous and happy, striving to become a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030 - the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and to become a developed country with high income by 2045 - the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation respectfully offered incense sticks and fresh flowers to express their deep gratitude for the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation and human liberation, an exemplary international communist soldier and a close friend of the peoples who have been fighting for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress around the world; vowing to join hands, be united, and contribute to implementing his Testament, continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, building a strong and prosperous country, and making the people's lives increasingly prosperous and happy.

Talking with the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Museum branch in Ho Chi Minh City, the Prime Minister hoped that the Museum would focus on doing better in introducing and popularizing the legacies of President Ho Chi Minh throughout the journey of national liberation so that people of all walks of life and international friends could deeply understand the Party, the great revolutionary cause of Uncle Ho and our nation. The life of President Ho Chi Minh is a noble symbol of steadfast revolutionary spirit, spirit of independence and self-reliance, patriotism, ardent love for the people, morality of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality, modesty and simplicity.

At the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense to commemorate President Ton Duc Thang, one of the first soldiers of the Vietnamese workers' movement and proletarian revolutionary movement, a staunch revolutionary soldier of the international communist and workers' movement, a close comrade in arms of the great President Ho Chi Minh, and an exemplary leader of the Party.

Also at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the exhibition on Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in the early 20th century, where the young man Nguyen Tat Thanh left to find a way to save the country; and on promoting the value of President Ho Chi Minh's memorial relics in Ho Chi Minh City.
