Prime Minister arrives in Phnom Penh to attend the World Economic Forum on ASEAN

At noon on May 11, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation arrived at Po Chen Tong airport to begin attending the World Economic Forum on ASEAN.

On the afternoon of May 11, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Po Chen Tong International Airport, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to begin their trip to attend the World Economic Forum on ASEAN 2017 (WEF ASEAN 2017).

Welcoming the Prime Minister and his delegation at the airport were representatives of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Thach Du, and officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia.

According to the working program, the Prime Minister is expected to attend and deliver a speech at the opening session of the plenary session “ASEAN 50 years of youth”, the dialogue session between leaders (IGWEL) with the theme “ASEAN 50 years old”, the working session with the ASEAN Regional Strategy Group, the discussion session on investment in smart infrastructure, and a dialogue with WEF business leaders on Vietnam's economy.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Prime Minister will meet with WEF leaders and several corporations./.
