Hot rewards for 2 major projects of Quynh Luu District Police

(Baonghean.vn)-On the morning of November 16, Quynh Luu District Police held a ceremony to commend their achievements in breaking up two special cases, VA316D and VA15P, on large-scale gambling and firecracker trading.

Recently, Quynh Luu district has been "hot" about large-scale gambling. Faced with this reality, the district police have established a special project VA 316D to fight this crime. At about 1:30 a.m. on November 11, a special task force of the district police surrounded the Da Bac hill area in hamlet 6, Tan Thang commune and arrested 39 subjects who were gambling in the form of "dice shaking". The seized evidence included 210 million VND, 4 mobile phones, and some related items. The subjects participating in gambling reside in Quynh Luu and neighboring districts such as Hoang Mai, Nghia Dan, and Thai Hoa. This is a large-scale gambling case in the area.

Then, at around 6:00 p.m. on November 15, the VA 15P Task Force, Quynh Luu District Police continued to discover and arrest two subjects, Tran Trung Tam, born in 1986, and Dinh Van Trung, born in 1994, both residing in Dien Phong Commune, Dien Chau District, for illegally transporting firecrackers for sale. The seized evidence included 406.5 kg of various types of firecrackers. The above firecrackers all originated from China.

In order to commend and encourage the spirit of solving cases of the working groups of Quynh Luu District Police, the provincial police leaders commended and awarded 7 million VND, while the leaders of Quynh Luu District presented congratulatory flowers and awarded 5 million VND for the above 2 special cases.
