On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2023), the 64th anniversary of the Border Guard's traditional day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2023), on the afternoon of March 1, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation came to present flowers and congratulate the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard of Nghe An province. Presenting flowers and congratulating the officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council shared the difficulties, hardships and sacrifices of the Border Guard soldiers to successfully complete the assigned tasks, making an important contribution to firmly protecting the sovereignty, territory and border security. In recent times, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard have overcome difficulties and achieved many great feats in the fight against crime, especially drug trafficking and transportation crimes. In socio-economic development, the Border Guard is an important force in helping people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, building effective economic development models for people in remote areas.

Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh hopes that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of the entire provincial Border Guard force will promote the revolutionary tradition and the achievements they have achieved, constantly strive and mature, always uphold the spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties, be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks; closely coordinate with localities and forces in all fields./.
