Many potential risks of fire and explosion in mini apartments and high-rise boarding houses in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - Narrow spaces, lack of fire exits and fire fighting equipment... are the reality in mini apartments and high-rise boarding houses in Vinh city today.

The extremely heartbreaking fire in a mini apartment building (9 floors, 1 attic) on the night of September 12, on Khuong Ha Street, Khuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, up to now, the authorities have determined 56 deaths and 37 injuries. The fire has really sounded the alarm about the current state of fire prevention and fighting in mini apartments and high-rise boarding houses nationwide. Particularly in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, although there are no specific statistics, however, through actual surveys, mini apartments and high-rise boarding houses are mostly concentrated in areas around universities, where there are a large number of students renting rooms. These houses are built on small areas, interspersed in residential areas. (In the photo: The area with many mini apartments and high-rise boarding houses is in Truong Thi Ward). Photo: D.C.
