"Dilemma" on the sea dike line of Quynh Luu beach
(Baonghean.vn) - Because the dike line of Quynh Luu district has not been completed, many tourists have difficulty traveling to Quynh beach.
Mr. Vuong, a tourist from the mountainous district of Quy Chau, drove a car on the dike section of Quynh Luu district and complained: I drove from Quynh Nghia beach to Quynh Bang beach on this dike, but unexpectedly, after a short distance, I encountered a bumpy, rocky dirt road that I could not pass and had to back up.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Muoi, a farmer in Quynh Minh commune (Quynh Luu) shared: Many tourists do not know the current status of this unfinished dike, so they just drive straight from Quynh Nghia beach to Quynh Bang, falling into a "dilemma".
According to our observations, on the unconcrete dike sections, the road surface is full of potholes, elephant holes, buffalo ridges... making it very difficult to travel, cars can easily hit the bottom when passing through this section of road.

Mr. Nguyen Van Mien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Minh Commune (Quynh Luu) said: The sea dike line across the commune is 1.2 km long, and so far only 1 km of concrete has been completed, the remaining 200 m is dirt road. The unfinished concrete surface of the dike, in addition to affecting agricultural production, also causes difficulties for people participating in traffic, especially for tourists when coming to Quynh beach.
The locality has repeatedly requested all levels and sectors to soon complete the upgrading of this dike, but after many years of construction, it is still unfinished.

It is known that the Quynh Luu district sea dike project, invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, has been implemented since 2009, with a total investment of more than 157 billion VND, funded by the Central Government. After 8 years of implementation, there are still about 4 km out of a total of more than 9 km (from Quynh Bang commune to Quynh Nghia) with incomplete dike surface.
