Receiving and distributing money and goods to support people affected by floods in Nghe An

(Baonghean) - The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province quickly reported the amount of money and goods donated to Nghe An people affected by floods through the Provincial Relief Committee.

Accordingly, as of October 28, 2016, the total number of agencies, units and individuals donating money and goods is 74 units and individuals. The total value of money is 17,242,900,000 VND, of which: registered cash donations: 16,797,500,000 VND; donations in goods converted to cash: 545,400,000 VND; amount transferred by units: 5,080,000,000 VND.

Regarding the allocation, through the actual survey in localities damaged by floods in September and October 2016 and the opinion of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 8156 /UBND-TH dated October 26, 2016 on the allocation of flood support money, the Standing Committee - Relief Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated 3,500,000,000 (three billion five hundred million VND) to 15 districts and cities, including: Nam Dan 400 million VND, Thanh Chuong 300 million, Do Luong 300 million, Anh Son 200 million, Con Cuong 200 million, Tuong Duong 300 million, Ky Son 100 million, Nghi Loc 300 million, Yen Thanh 300 million, Nghia Dan 100 million, TX. Thai Hoa 100 million, Quy Chau 400 million, Que Phong 400 million Quy Hop 100 million VND.
