In October 2021, press agencies closely followed the province's principles, purposes and propaganda orientation. They fully and promptly reported on political, economic, cultural and social activities in the province, meeting readers' information needs and doing a good job of propaganda and guiding public opinion.

Accordingly, press agencies inform and propagate positive signals and bright spots in a number of fields that have achieved good growth in the context of the epidemic.Covid-19of the province; emphasizing the drastic direction and management of the provincial leaders to achieve the "dual" goal of both preventing and fighting the epidemic and developing the economy.

At the same time, it mentioned fundamental solutions to restore the economy, policies to continue to support, encourage and motivate businesses to restore production, ensure the supply chain of goods; emphasizing the role of entrepreneurs and businesses in the socio-economic development of the province.

Press agencies continue to promote Party building work; promote the implementation of resolutions into life; update and inform the 3rd session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; and mention a number of issues proposed by voters.

Besides, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station have updated and reported on the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly fully and promptly.

The October report on the assessment of press management in the province also stated: Despite being directed, oriented, noted and thoroughly understood by the agency, there are still situations where some press agencies use insensitive and disrespectful headlines and titles.

Some journalists and reporters have not seriously complied with the Vietnam Journalists Association's Code of Conduct for Social Media Use and the Ministry of Information and Communications' Code of Conduct on Social Media.

There is still the situation of using arbitrary and offensive language, making many people upset and affecting the image and reputation of journalists.

In October 2021, although some contents have been oriented, they have not received the attention of press agencies for information and propaganda...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department highly appreciated the press agencies and journalists for actively promoting the province's activities.

Regarding propaganda orientation in November 2021, he requested press agencies to overcome shortcomings and limitations, continue to publish and broadcast many news, articles, information programs, and propaganda on Covid-19 prevention and control in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Provincial Journalists Association awarded the 15th National Press Award in 2020 to the group of authors Hoa Mo, Thuy Vinh, Sy Dat, Duy Thanh, Phuc Huu of the Nghe An Radio and Television Journalists Association with the work "Sweetness to Saltiness".
