Continue to contribute ideas to complete the Nghe An Enterprise Development Project to 2025
(Baonghean.vn) - The project to develop enterprises in Nghe An province until 2025 is one of the key projects for socio-economic development of the province, term 2021-2025.
In order to complete the policy to support the development of provincial enterprises from now until 2025, on the morning of September 14, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session to collect additional opinions on the Project on developing provincial enterprises until 2025. Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee, relevant departments, agencies and branches; representatives of VCCI Nghe An branch, business associations, provincial entrepreneurs and Vinh City People's Committee.

Incorporating the opinions of the Provincial People's Committee, this draft project has been redesigned to be more concise, including 3 parts: assessing the current state of business development in the period of 2016-2020 (including performance results, shortcomings, limitations, results of improving the investment environment and lessons learned); goals, orientations and solutions to support business development in the period of 2021-2025 and the final part is solutions for implementation.
By the end of 2020, the province had 23,404 newly established enterprises, an increase of 61.4% compared to 2015; of which, 13,220 enterprises were operating, equal to 56.48% of the number of registered enterprises.

Based on the assessment of the current situation and analysis of favorable factors, limitations and disadvantages, the province aims to have 34,000 - 35,000 enterprises by 2025, of which 21,000 are operating.
On average, each year, new jobs are created for about 20,000 - 25,000 workers and the business sector contributes about 65 - 67% of the budget revenue; capital mobilization from businesses accounts for 35 - 40% of total investment capital in the area; continue to innovate technology in the business sector at 20%/year.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the spirit of working acceptance of the Drafting Team in accepting the comments of departments, branches and associations to build the most concise and quality project.
The goal of 34,000 - 35,000 enterprises being established this term, of which 21,000 are operating, is considered and feasible. Besides the focus on attracting large, dynamic projects, another priority is to focus on attracting projects to produce consumer goods, supporting industrial products, and develop light industries.
Along with expanding the industrial land area in the Southeast Economic Zone, the province will prioritize attracting projects to fill the industrial parks that have invested in infrastructure and planned to develop industrial clusters to meet the land access needs of enterprises. The Department of Planning and Investment is requested to cite relevant documents and policies in the appendix for easy comparison and monitoring; departments, branches and associations continue to contribute comments, promptly supplement comments of departments and branches into the implementation solutions section to submit to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee as soon as possible./.
