Continue to take screening samples in the 'red zone' of Vinh city and Cua Lo town
(Baonghean.vn) - Through rapid testing, sampling teams and groups in Vinh city discovered a number of rapid test samples positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
On the evening of August 28, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of HealthNghe Anpresent at Covid-19 testing sampling points in Vinh city to inspect, urge, and motivate the task force and inform: From 3:00 p.m. on August 28, the Department of Health continued to coordinate with Vinh city to organize the second rapid test to screen all residents in high-risk wards and communes including: Hong Son, Vinh Tan, Hung Binh and Nghi Phu. By 9:00 p.m. on the same day, the basic sampling was completed.

Also according to the head of Nghe An Health Department: In the first community screening campaign in Vinh city, the whole city had 278,866 people screened. Through screening tests, Vinh city detected 39 people infected with Covid-19 in the following wards and communes: Vinh Tan (6), Hong Son (7), Cua Nam (2), Le Loi (1), Hung Binh (10), Hung Dong (2), Trung Do (2), Nghi Phu (6), Hung Chinh (1), Quang Trung (1) and Hung Loc (1).

This time, PCR testing was carried out for 100% of the people in the Nghi Thuy "red zone" to ensure screening and detection of all F0 cases remaining in the community. To carry out the sampling, the Department of Health mobilized 60 medical staff and doctors from Nghe An Lung Hospital and staff from Cua Lo Medical Center to participate.
