The Propaganda Subcommittee for the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 (Subcommittee) was established and is under the direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, consisting of 22 members and 1 support team, headed by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong. The Subcommittee is responsible for directing and orienting the propaganda activities of the Congress; determining the content, form and measures of propaganda; directing, urging, inspecting and evaluating the results of the propaganda work of the Congress throughout the province.

Information and propaganda work is clearly assigned to each unit. Specifically: newspapers and radio stations are responsible for information and propaganda work on mass media; building specialized pages and columns, increasing broadcasting time on grassroots radio, focusing on topics about advanced models, examples of "good people, good deeds". Departments, branches, and socio-political organizations coordinate to propagate and mobilize people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, guide the hanging of flags, banners, and slogans at central locations, urban beautification... All work focal points clearly assign heads in charge, responsible for urging and checking to ensure overall progress.

Towards propaganda for Party congresses at all levels, Nghe An Newspaper has opened columns such as: Towards Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Nghe An Newspaper has identified this as the propaganda focus of 2020.

At the conference, members discussed the operating regulations, clearly assigned work points; the number of members of the support team; recalculated facilities, funding; congress venue; forms of propaganda such as banners, slogans, cultural and artistic activities...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong requested the members of the Subcommittee to seriously implement the proposed plan, proactively developing specific content and tasks for the sectors and units under their charge. The members of the Subcommittee must closely follow the regulations for implementation, and promptly report any problems for handling.

The Subcommittee is responsible for preparing essential facilities to ensure that the organization of propaganda and service for the Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, is safe, solemn, and meets the requirements.

Regarding the working group for the Subcommittee, comrade Nguyen Van Thong suggested to consult on the number of members, focusing on human resources from the Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Department of Finance. The working group has the task of acting as a bridge, quickly grasping the operational situation./.
