On the morning of October 29, in Vinh City, Nghe An Market Management Department destroyed a large quantity of counterfeit, banned, poor quality goods of unknown origin, worth nearly 1.8 billion VND.
This time, 261 types of goods were destroyed, including alcohol, cigarettes, candy, shoes, sandals, clothes, etc. In particular, there were nearly 6,000 children's toys and many types of cosmetics and functional foods. These are items of unknown origin, counterfeit, banned, and poor quality that have been recovered by teams of the Provincial Market Management Department since the beginning of the year.
Based on each type of goods, the destruction council checked and compared the quantity and type and decided to choose the appropriate form of destruction, ensuring compliance with regulations and environmental hygiene.

From now until the end of the year, especially before, during and after the Lunar New Year, the situation of violations of goods of unknown origin, counterfeit goods, banned goods, infringing goods, and poor quality goods will continue to be complicated. Therefore, the Provincial Market Management Department will strengthen coordination with functional forces to conduct comprehensive inspections in the province to promptly detect and handle violations.
