Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organizes 'Border March' in Ky Son district

This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2021) and the 62nd anniversary of the Border Guard's tradition day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2021).

Within the framework of the program, comrade Le Van Luong - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Student Association, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council led the working delegation to visit Muong Ai Border Guard Station.

Sharing the difficulties and hardships of the collective of officers and soldiers working at the station, day and night protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security, and also participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic on the front line, Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong said that the program "March Border Month" is an opportunity for the Youth Union at all levels to increase attention, share, and give gifts and encourage soldiers on duty at border stations and checkpoints...

“Through the practical activities of the program, it contributes to widely propagating to members and young people about the glorious tradition of the Union, Association and generations of Vietnamese youth in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland,” he further affirmed.

Congratulating Muong Ai Border Guard Station on the 62nd anniversary of the Border Guard Force's tradition, the delegation presented a set of computers to the officers and soldiers working there.

On this occasion, in order to show concern and care for children in difficult border areas, the delegation also presented 3,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students of Muong Tip Secondary School; at the same time, presented gifts to encourage the Youth Volunteer Team to keep the border peaceful in Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district.

In addition, joining the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, the members of the delegation donated 2 gas stoves, 2 pot sets, 3,000 medical masks and 50 bottles of hand sanitizer to 2 Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoints, checkpoint 413 and checkpoint 415.

On the same day, the delegation visited and presented a hot and cold water dispenser to the regular police force of Muong Ai commune, encouraging officers and soldiers of the armed forces who are on duty to protect the Fatherland, bringing a peaceful life to the people.
