Provincial Youth Union gives gifts to frontline forces against Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 7, representatives of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to cadres, soldiers, youth union members doing volunteer work and people at the quarantine area of Quynh Lap commune (Hoang Mai) - the first locality to record a positive case of Covid-19 in the province.

The delegation of the Provincial Youth Union kindly visited, encouraged and sent wishes of good health to all officers and soldiers working at the quarantine area to always have a strong will, faith, and strive to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, they hoped that officers, soldiers, medical staff, and youth union members would always uphold their sense of responsibility to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic from spreading in the community.
The delegation donated 10,000 medical masks, 100 bottles of antiseptic water, 100 bucket hats to the volunteer team, 8 cartons of milk and 2 cartons of water to serve the work of epidemic prevention.
Also in the afternoon, the delegation worked with Hoang Mai Town Youth Union, identifying the idea of fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy, avoiding negligence and subjectivity. In the coming time, the Town Youth Union will continue to coordinate effectively with all levels, sectors and organizations to effectively implement propaganda, volunteer and shock programs on the anti-epidemic front.

With the spirit of "Every citizen is a soldier, every village is a fortress", Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong believes that Nghe An youth will maintain their enthusiasm, take the lead in all volunteer work to fight the epidemic, unite together to carry out the work promptly, effectively, and spread to all classes of people.
