Provincial Youth Union gives gifts to frontline forces fighting Covid-19 epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 7, representatives of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers, youth union members doing volunteer work and people at the quarantine area of Quynh Lap commune (Hoang Mai) - the first locality to record a positive case of Covid-19 in the province.

The Provincial Youth Union delegation kindly visited, encouraged and sent wishes of good health to all officers and soldiers working at the quarantine area to always have strong will and faith, and strive to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, they hoped that officers, soldiers, medical staff, and youth union members would always uphold their sense of responsibility to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic from spreading in the community.
The delegation donated 10,000 medical masks, 100 bottles of antiseptic water, 100 bucket hats to the volunteer team, 8 cartons of milk and 2 cartons of water to serve the epidemic prevention work.
Also in the afternoon, the working group worked with Hoang Mai City Youth Union, identifying the mindset of fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy, avoiding negligence and subjectivity. In the coming time, the City Youth Union will continue to coordinate effectively with all levels, sectors and organizations to effectively implement propaganda, volunteer and shock programs on the anti-epidemic front.
