Gifu Province (Japan) surveys investment in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) – On February 23, a working delegation from Gifu Prefecture, Japan led by Mr. Satoshi Horibe - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry, Labor and Trade of the province, directly surveyed a number of industrial parks in the Southeast Economic Zone. Accompanying them were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Southeast Economic Zone.

The delegation visited Nam Cam Industrial Park in Nghi Loc District. Nam Cam Industrial Park is divided into many sub-zones with the orientation of attracting specific investment sectors. Currently, there are about 70 enterprises operating in this industrial park, creating jobs for many workers and contributing a large amount to the provincial budget.

In addition, investors from Gifu Province (Japan) also came to survey Dong Hoi Industrial Park (Hoang Mai Town). This industrial park is identified as the driving force for economic development in the North of Nghe An Province. With its favorable location, Dong Hoi Industrial Park is attracting many large projects from domestic and foreign investors such as Japan and India, including projects under urgent construction such as the factory of Hoa Sen Group.

At the industrial parks, representatives of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board introduced preferential policies for investors when investing in production projects or industrial park infrastructure in the above industrial parks.
Investors from Gifu Prefecture also asked many questions to learn more about the policy of exempting land rent, corporate income tax, and infrastructure in industrial parks.
On the same day, the Gifu province delegation also visited Cua Lo port, Cua Lo town.

Previously, the Gifu delegation visited Vinh CAD branch in Vinh city, which belongs to Yabashi Limestone Mining Company Vietnam. This enterprise has 100% investment capital from Gifu province, Japan. Vinh CAD specializes in making wooden house design drawings for the residential house design market in Japan and is currently providing jobs for more than 100 Nghe An workers.
