At around 6am, when candidate Vo Thi Thanh Tam, residing at the Youth Volunteer Corps (Thanh Thuy Commune - Thanh Chuong), discovered that she had forgotten her exam card, she was confused and did not know what to do. If she drove home to get her exam card, she would be late for the exam when she returned to school, and if she asked her family to bring it to the exam site, her parents could not go. Tam's father was working far away. Tam's mother was at home, but she did not know the way.
While Tam was worried and hesitant, Nguyen Sy Bao - a young volunteer present at the exam site who understood the situation took on the task of driving his motorbike to the candidate's house to help get the card.
Mr. Bao said: “Tam said she took the wrong birth certificate. If I let her ride home to get the card, she would be late for the exam, so I decided to ride home to get the card for her.” According to Mr. Bao, before leaving the exam site, he asked for Tam’s family phone number, then while driving, he called her family’s address to ask for her exam card before he stopped by her house to get it.

While driving, Mr. Bao thought that with the long distance, if he found the candidate's house, it would take a lot of time, and if he returned, he would not be able to make it in time for the candidate's exam. Therefore, he discussed with the candidate's family to send someone to bring the exam card in the opposite direction he was going, and they would meet at the place where they would hand over the exam card.

When Mr. Bao drove past Dong Danh Lake (in Thanh Thuy Commune), he encountered a student going in the opposite direction. This student said that he was a villager who was asked by Tam's mother to bring his exam card to Thanh Thuy town to give to a volunteer to take to the exam school. He himself was not familiar with the road. After handing over the exam card, Mr. Bao turned around and drove straight to the exam site. When he arrived at the gate of Nguyen Sy Sach High School, everyone looked at their watches and saw it was 10 minutes to 7.
The journey to get the exam card, nearly 40 km (round trip), was an unforgettable memory for Mr. Bao. Mr. Bao shared: "While driving, I was very nervous, partly because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find the candidate's house or it would take a long time, and partly because I was afraid that by the time I got the exam card back, it would be past the candidate's test time. Luckily, everything was fine, and no one at the exam site was late or missing any documents."

Luckily, Mr. Bao got the exam card and arrived on time. "I gave the exam card to Tam and was nervous on behalf of the candidate. I hope he still does well on the test," Ms. Trang said.
It is known that Mr. Nguyen Sy Bao is currently the Secretary of the Youth Union of Thanh Duong commune, Thanh Chuong district.
