Xieng Khouang Province (Laos) awarded certificates of merit to Nghe An health sector
(Baonghean.vn) - With the approval of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, on January 25, Nghe An Department of Health held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of Merit from Xieng Khouang Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Certificate of Merit from Xieng Khouang Department of Health.

Nghe An Province and Xieng Khouang Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic have a long-standing tradition of good friendship and cooperation. Implementing the cooperation agreement between the two provinces, in recent years, Nghe An's health sector has had many cooperative activities, supporting Xieng Khouang's health sector in training human resources and providing medical examination and treatment services to Lao people.

The activities and cooperation results of the Nghe An province's health sector have been recognized and highly appreciated by Xieng Khouang province. The Xieng Khouang Provincial Government Committee, Lao People's Democratic Republic issued Decision No. 903/TT.XKL on rewarding collectives and individuals of the Nghe An health sector for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the friendly cooperative relationship between the Nghe An health sector and the Xieng Khouang health sector.

At the ceremony, Director of the Xieng Khouang Provincial Department of Health, Master, Doctor Bun Say Nuan Tha Sim, presented Certificates of Merit from the Governor of Xieng Khouang Province to 5 groups (Nghe An Department of Health, Provincial General Hospital, Vinh Medical University, Ky Son District Medical Center, Nghe An Provincial Preventive Medicine Center) and 8 individuals; presented Certificates of Merit from the Xieng Khouang Provincial Department of Health to 10 other groups and 6 individuals.

Also at the ceremony, Nghe An Provincial General Hospital and Xieng Khouang Provincial General Hospital continued to sign a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in supporting human resource training, technical support, disease control and providing medical services./.
