Organizing a contest to learn about 'History of Nghe An province 990 years of formation and development'

According to Official Dispatch No. 3151/UBND-KGVX dated May 25 of the Provincial People's Committee, the Contest will be held through the Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal for 6 weeks, starting from July 20, 2020 to August 30, 2020. The closing and award ceremony will take place in early September 2020.

Previously, on January 15, 2020, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 990th anniversary of Nghe An's title (1030 - 2020) with many activities, in which the initial celebration was determined to be held in April 2020.

However, in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 5577-CV/TU dated March 27, 2020, announcing the opinion of the Provincial Party Standing Committee agreeing to postpone the organization of the 990th Anniversary of Nghe An's Title to early September 2020.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has also assigned the Provincial People's Committee to study and combine the 990th Anniversary of Nghe An's Title (1030 - 2020) and the 90th Anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2020) into a suitable, scientific, effective and meaningful celebration program. The celebration will be held in early September 2020. The Provincial People's Committee has issued an official dispatch assigning the Department of Culture and Sports to advise on the implementation of the above direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
