"Effectively organize activities for the poor"

(Baonghean) - Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station; candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term in constituency No. 3, Quynh Luu district.

As Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, I have strived to promote the responsibility of a leader, unite to build the station with many remarkable developments in content quality, expand coverage, contributing to promoting the image of the province to localities at home and abroad.

As a delegate of the Provincial People's Council in the previous term, after each meeting, I directly listened to and answered voters' concerns within my authority and issues that I had a firm grasp of; and compiled voters' opinions and submitted them to the Provincial People's Council.

As a member of the Cultural - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council, I have participated responsibly in giving opinions on important draft resolutions of the sessions such as: Resolution on financial support to encourage communes to meet the National Criteria on Health; Resolution on a number of policies on population work, on education and training development; on medical examination and treatment services...; supervising the implementation of many resolutions on vocational training for rural workers; on health insurance for the poor and near-poor; on the management of historical - cultural relics in the province...

Deeply aware of the role and responsibility of a provincial People's Council delegate to the voters he represents, if the voters of my district continue to trust and elect me as a provincial People's Council delegate this term, I am determined that I will have the conditions to promote the results and experiences of a delegate after the last term, and carry out well the following contents:

First: Maintain contact with voters, Party committees, authorities and grassroots organizations. Fully report to voters on the socio-economic situation of the province; listen to and answer voters' concerns within their authority and understanding. Fully absorb and honestly reflect voters' opinions, wishes and recommendations, promptly transfer them to the Provincial People's Council and responsible agencies; request responses and solutions to voters' legitimate and legal recommendations from the grassroots.

Second: Regularly study policies and guidelines, approach more with grassroots practices to participate in discussions at meetings; build quality resolutions and policies of the Provincial People's Council, serving the requirements of socio-economic development of the province and production and business, closely linked to people's lives.

Third: Monitor and supervise the implementation of resolutions and policies from practice, contributing to urging the implementation of functional agencies and authorities at all levels; propose adjustments to unreasonable issues of policies and guidelines to suit practical requirements at the grassroots level.

Fourth: As the leader of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, I will continue to strive to innovate and improve the quality of program content, promptly reflect political, economic, cultural and social events in the province, and policies of the Party and State to the people; introduce good examples and good practices from localities.

Reflect and fight against negative manifestations and corruption; contribute to transparency and democracy in social life; fulfill the role of a bridge for the people; promptly reflect the opinions, thoughts and aspirations of the people to the Party Committee and the government. Follow up, detect and speak out about inappropriate and negative issues in social life, affecting the development of the homeland and the lives of the people.

Promoting the strengths of the PT-TH press agency, continuing to organize more effectively and extensively social activities for the poor and poor children; contributing to sustainable hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
