Solemnly organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Nghe An province

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 153/KH-UBND to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Traditional Day.Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces(August 21, 1945 - August 21, 2025). Organizing activities to propagate and educate the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the armed forces of Nghe An province; raising awareness and responsibility of officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people about patriotism, national pride, history of struggle, national liberation and great achievements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; paying tribute to the sacrifices of previous revolutionary generations, policy beneficiaries, relatives of martyrs' families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces through the periods.

There will be many commemorative activities held in 2025. Propaganda, education, emulation and reward activities include: Making documentaries, reports, exchange programs, meetings, seminars and articles with the theme "80 years of building, fighting and maturing of the provincial armed forces"; organizing logo composition contests (symbolic images of the provincial armed forces), composing songs about the activities of the provincial armed forces; organizing the compilation of "History of the People's Armed Forces of Nghe An province, period 1975-2025"; launching a high-point emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the anniversary; organizing conferences to honor advanced models, commend good people and good deeds at all levels towards the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province, period 2020 - 2025; rewarding collectives and individuals with achievements in training and combat readiness.

Along with that, there are also activities to organize mass art performances in the provincial armed forces; cultural, literary, artistic, physical education and sports activities to celebrate the event; exhibitions of achievements in building the people's armed forces, building the national defense in the province; organizing commemorative ceremonies, seminars, meetings, exchanges; organizing gratitude activities, propaganda, and mobilizing people to build new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction; donating gratitude houses, offering flowers and incense at historical sites, martyrs' cemeteries; visiting and giving gifts to families of war invalids, relatives of martyrs, families with preferential policies, people with meritorious services to the revolution... Key military and defense activities are associated with promoting the building of the national defense, building "the people's hearts", the national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture.

According to Plan No. 153/KH-UBND, the 80th Anniversary of Traditional DayNghe An Provincial Armed Forceswill be solemnly held, with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, General Department of Politics, Military Region 4; military generals from Nghe An; leaders of Nghe An province through the periods; leaders of the High Command, Military Command of provinces and cities across the country and provinces in Laos; representatives of revolutionary veterans, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers... The expected time to hold the Celebration Ceremony is from August 18-21, 2025 at the Hall of the Labor Culture House of Nghe An province./.
