At the seminar, the delegates reviewed the biography, background, career and many great contributions of the Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac - the founder of the medical profession, an outstanding genius of Vietnamese traditional medicine; to the development of traditional medicine in our country. Throughout his career, he collected and discovered more than 300 more Vietnamese medicinal herbs, and synthesized 2,854 more popular empirical remedies for the people. He always focused on building the medical ethics of physicians, proposing 9 things in "Medical teachings" to teach about the ethics of physicians that still hold true today.
