Promoting the role of young workers in the era of national growth
On the afternoon of May 25, in Vinh city (Nghe An), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a seminar on "Promoting the role of young workers in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise".

Comrades: Nguyen Kim Quy - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Front Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union chaired the discussion.
Attending the Seminar were comrades representing provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; typical individuals receiving the 15th National "Excellent Young Worker" Award, along with union members, young workers and young laborers of Nghe An province.

In the context of the world undergoing profound, rapid, and unpredictable changes, along with the post-Covid-19 pandemic impacts, the fourth industrial revolution with modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation is developing strongly, posing an urgent requirement for our country to proactively adapt, innovate and create to rise up.
In that process, young workers are the core force, the shock troops that need to promote their pioneering role in production labor, innovation and improving productivity and work quality.

The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress has clearly pointed out the role and position of the modern Vietnamese working class in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. To achieve that goal, the labor force consists of workers, engineers, and skilled workers, includingyoung workerThe majority is the decisive force to help the country rise strongly in the new era.
At the Seminar, delegates, union members, and young workers exchanged and discussed a number of key contents: Clarifying new requirements for young workers in the context of digital transformation and the fourth industrial revolution; thereby clearly identifying the necessary capacity to adapt and develop sustainably.

Share and replicate good models and initiatives in applying technology, improving techniques, and innovating processes proposed and implemented by young workers in production, thereby spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity and arousing the desire for development in the young workforce.
Continuing to affirm the pioneering role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation in accompanying and supporting young workers in their career development; improving their material and spiritual life and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of young workers in the modern working environment.

Speaking at the end of the Seminar, Comrade Nguyen Kim Quy - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Front Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Central Vietnam Youth Union affirmed that the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will continue to concretize the contents and solutions proposed at the Seminar with practical programs and action plans.
