This huge and magnificent castle keeps being built and then disappears without a trace when spring comes. And it has been like that for 20 years now.

The Snow Castle on the Bothnian Bay is the most popular destination in Kemi. According to many, it has helped make winter in Finland "hotter" and "more exciting" thanks to attracting a large number of visitors. Photo: Travelocity.
Because the main component of the castle is made of ice and snow, when spring comes, it melts again. In the following winter, the people here continue to build another snow castle with different shapes. Photo: Pinterest.
Over the past 20 years, the castle has grown from 13,000 to 20,000 square meters, and one year it was even built with three floors. Photo: Booking.
