General Secretary and Prime Minister offer incense to commemorate late General Secretary Le Duan

On July 9 and 10, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered incense to commemorate the late General Secretary Le Duan on the 30th anniversary of his death.

* On the morning of July 9, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trongrespectfully offered incense in memory and expressed gratitude for the great contributions of General Secretary Le Duan to our country, nation, Party and people.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized that, firmly following the path chosen by the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, our entire Party, people and army are striving, uniting, and determined to overcome difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, and successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress; constantly studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, building our Party to be truly clean and strong, and our country to be increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong warmly visited and wished the relatives of General Secretary Le Duan good health and happiness, upholding family traditions and continuing to contribute to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

*On the morning of July 10, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan PhucRespectfully offering incense in memory of General Secretary Le Duan, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Comrade Le Duan's great contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification and vowed to join the Government in striving to build a socialist Vietnam with rich people, strong country, democracy, equality and civilization.

During his 26 consecutive years as First Secretary and General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, comrade Le Duan was not only a steadfast political leader, an excellent strategist, a talented organizer, but also a great thinker and intellectual of the Vietnamese revolution.
