Saigon Newport Corporation supports 3 billion VND to build a medical station in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 5, Saigon Newport Corporation coordinated with Thanh Chuong district to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of the Gratitude House to war invalid Nguyen Trong Son in Thanh Lam commune and held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Thanh Mai Commune Health Station, Thanh Chuong district.
Attending the ceremony were Colonel Bui Van Quy - Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Corporation; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Kien - Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Newport Joint Stock Company; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Nghia - Deputy Director of Northern Newport Branch and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Nghe An province.
On the side of Thanh Chuong district, there was Mr. Trinh Van Nha - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Son, born in 1958, joined the army in August 1976 at Division 31, Binh Dinh province. In 1977, he was assigned by his unit to fight in the Cambodian battlefield and was wounded in 1978. Currently, he is a 4/4 disabled veteran, and his family's circumstances are very difficult. In order to share the situation of disabled veteran Nguyen Trong Son, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation has supported 50 million VND so that his family can build a new, spacious house.
It is known that in 2023, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation supported the construction cost of 8 gratitude houses (VND 50 - 80 million/house) and repaired 1 house (VND 10 million/house) for families of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and policy families with especially difficult circumstances in Nghe An province with a total cost of VND 560 million.
On this occasion, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation donated 3 billion VND to the People's Committee of Thanh Mai Commune (Thanh Chuong District) to build multidisciplinary clinics at the Commune Health Station, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, serving the lives of local people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Bui Van Quy - Deputy General Director of Tan Cang Saigon Corporation said that Tan Cang Saigon Corporation is a defense and security enterprise under the Navy, Ministry of National Defense with two central political tasks: carrying out military and defense activities and production and business.
