(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 30, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on the preparation and organization of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Truong Bon Victory.

Truong Bon is an important traffic junction on the strategic road 15A, passing through My Son commune, Do Luong district. On October 31, 1968, this place marked the heroic sacrifice of 13 martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force Company 317, Team 65, the Youth Volunteer Force against the US to save the country in Nghe An province. Truong Bon has become a symbol of patriotism, revolutionary will, a red address to educate traditions for generations.

In order to demonstrate the morality of “remembering the source of water when drinking”, to show gratitude to heroic martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution; to contribute to strengthening the education of tradition, patriotism and responsibility of generations, especially the young generation towards their homeland and country, Nghe An province coordinated with Nhan Dan Newspaper to organize a ceremony and art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Truong Bon victory.

In order to prepare carefully for the official program tomorrow night (November 1), the rehearsal took place according to the detailed script. The members of the organizing committee closely followed the assigned tasks, reviewed each content and activity, and made efforts to ensure the success of the anniversary program.

Tomorrow evening (November 1), according to the program script, leaders of Nghe An province and Nhan Dan Newspaper will present savings books to relatives of 13 martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force who died at Truong Bon, witness Tran Thi Thong, former 2 Deputy Captains of Company 317 and 9 families of Youth Volunteer Force with difficult circumstances in Nghe An province.

The highlight is the art program with the theme "Truong Bon - Immortal epic" including 4 chapters: Beloved homeland, Truong Bon - Fire and flower road, Memorial song, Nghe An new day. The art program is performed by artists of Vietnam Contemporary Art Theater, Nghe An Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe and People's Artists, Meritorious Artists, and famous singers.

The program was broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television, People's Television and Nghe An Radio and Television Station./.
