All efforts to overcome flash flood consequences in Ky Son and wait for rescue forces
(Baonghean.vn) - As soon as news of the flash flood broke out, the authorities, authorities and people in Muong Xen town, Ta Ca commune (Ky Son district) had to brace themselves to cope with and overcome the consequences of the fierce flood. Currently, the clean-up after the flood is continuing, while waiting for forces from the lowlands to come up for rescue.
The flash flood that occurred from the night of October 1 to noon of October 2 is considered aflash floodin the Muong Xen town area for decades now. According to many local people, in the past, the Muong Xen town area was flooded mainly due to rising river water, but this time, although the rainfall in the area was only about 100mm, it caused a terrible flash flood. Many large rocks and tree stumps were swept down by the floodwaters along with mud, submerging many houses of people and the headquarters of agencies and units where it swept through.

There are no complete statistics yet, but being directly present at the scene, we can see that the damage that people in Block 1, Muong Xen town and Son Ha and Hoa Son villages of Ta Ca commune have to bear is extremely heavy.

In addition to promoting the spirit of "4 on-site", the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, mobilized forces to support Ky Son district to overcome the consequences of the flood.

Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Dinh Hanh - Political Commissar of the Ky Son District Military Command said: As soon as we received news of the flash flood, from the night of October 1, the unit mobilized more than 30 officers, soldiers and militia in the area to promptly go to the scene to urgently evacuate people to safety. Yesterday, while waiting for rescue forces, the District Military Command also mobilized nearly 100 more officers and soldiers to support agencies, units and people in cleaning up houses, removing vehicles and assets from the rubble.
Currently, while waiting for forces from the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Police from the lowlands to come to the rescue, the authorities and people of Ky Son continue to make all-out efforts to clean up and salvage the remaining assets.
