According to a White House statement, the above statement was made by US President Joe Biden when he spoke at the United Nations General Assembly on September 21.

“In my view, all major powers have a duty to carefully manage their relationships to avoid the transition from responsible competition to conflict. The United States will stand up for our allies and friends, and oppose efforts by stronger nations to bully weaker ones, whether it is through force, economic coercion, technological exploitation, or disinformation,” he said.Bidenstated.

“But we are not seeking a new Cold War or dividing the world into rigid blocs. America is ready to cooperate with any nation that supports and pursues peaceful solutions to common challenges, even where we disagree on some areas,” Mr. Biden added.

The US leader also declared that he would maintain his commitments to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, as well as coordinate with the remaining countries in the P5+1 group (US, Russia, China, France, UK and Germany) to approach Iran diplomatically and seek a way to return to the JCPOA nuclear deal. "The US is ready to return to the JCPOA agreement, if Iran does the same," Mr. Biden said.

In addition, President Biden also mentioned the threat from terrorism.

“We must also remain vigilant about the threat that terrorism poses to all nations, whether it comes from faraway lands or from nearby countries. We all know the sting of terrorism is real, and almost all of us have experienced it,” Mr. Biden continued.
