President Putin stressed that the day of voting is the day when Russian people can express their opinions: “We are not voting simply for amendments, which are stipulated in legal norms. We are voting for the country in which we want to live, with modern education and healthcare, with reliable social protection for citizens, with effective, socially responsible government. We are voting for the country in which we work, in which we want to pass on to our children and grandchildren”.
President Putin also affirmed that constitutional amendments will only take effect when supported and approved by the Russian people./.
