President Putin affirms standing side by side with Syria to 'final victory'
President Putin affirmed that Moscow will continue to support Syria in protecting its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will help Damascus in the process of rebuilding the country.

Syrian state news agency (SANA) reported on July 21 that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the two countries celebrating 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
According to SANA, in the telegram, President Assad emphasized the importance of promoting relations with Russia in all areas to benefit both countries.
The Syrian leader highly appreciated Russia's military activities as it always stood side by side with the Syrian army, and affirmed that Moscow has effectively contributed to the fight against terrorism on Syrian territory.
For his part, President Putin affirmed that Moscow will continue to support Syria in protecting its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will help Damascus in the process of rebuilding the country.
The Russian leader believes that joint efforts between the two countries will contribute to achieving final victory in the fight against terrorism in Syria.
