President Trump praises President Putin as 'great man'
US President Donald Trump called his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a “great man” and described their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 Summit as “very good”.

The US and Russian leaders had an hour-and-a-half long meeting on June 28 in Osaka, Japan within the framework of the G20 Summit.
“I think he’s a great guy. We had a very good meeting,” President Trump told Russian State Television (VGTRK) commentator Pavel Zarubin.
On the website of the TV channel "Russia 24", President Trump was quoted as saying that the White House owner had reached a lot of consensus with President Putin and started discussing trade issues.
"We have to have bilateral trade between Russia and the United States, two great powers. We had a great meeting yesterday. Mr. Putin is an extraordinary man. Thank you very much!" - the US leader concluded.
