Goal: Alli (45'+1, 54').

Alli's two headers were the fatal blows that Tottenham gave Chelsea. The scenarios of the goals were somewhat similar, Christian Eriksen crossed the ball for Alli to jump high and head past goalkeeper Courtois.

Eden Hazard had a couple of good chances in each half that could have been converted into goals, but Tottenham's impressive victory was assured until the referee blew the final whistle.

Tottenham have broken into the top four after winning the London derby. Pochettino's side sit comfortably in third place, pushing Arsenal out of the top four and just seven points behind leaders Chelsea.

Meanwhile, despite the defeat, Chelsea is still 5 points ahead of second-place Liverpool. This is a safe distance before the Premier League takes a 10-day break and returns on January 14.

Chelsea entered the London derby determined to make it a record 14 consecutive victories in a season. Coach Conte's team with the 3-4-3 formation is a phenomenon, continuously defeating 13 opponents to take sole possession of the number one position. Chelsea had a moment of dominance but on a night when Dele Alli shone, Tottenham only needed two headers to decide the match.

Before the match, coach Pochettino said that Alli is the most important player who has grown up in English football in recent years. With a double against Chelsea, Alli affirmed his value as an indispensable part of the future of Tottenham and the England team. After last season's remarkable progress, Alli is on the right track as he gradually stabilizes the role of an attacking midfielder, who is capable of running up to finish instead of the striker.

The 20-year-old midfielder continued his fine form, scoring his seventh goal in his last four Premier League games. Alli's form coincided with Tottenham's strong comeback with five consecutive wins. Confidence is returning to Pochettino's men after a turbulent first half of the season.

It was a bit disappointing for Chelsea when they failed to reach 14 consecutive wins, but Conte's team are still in the leading position. The gap of 5 points with the second team Liverpool is quite safe. More importantly, Chelsea's mental state is difficult to shake because of a defeat because Conte has turned this team into a team fully equipped for the long-term battle.
