The discounted models are all imported cars, while popular domestically produced models such as Innova, Vios, Camry have not changed prices. Another notable imported Toyota model, Fortuner, also keeps its price unchanged. The company said that the price applied to Fortuner is calculated according to the 2017 import tax, so there is no adjustment.
The Yaris is imported from Thailand, so the price reduction of 44-47 million is largely due to the reduction in import tax from 40% to 30%. Meanwhile, the Land Cruiser and Lexus models imported from Japan have annual tax reductions according to the roadmap when joining the WTO. Along with the impact of other factors, this company has reduced the price of cars.

Also due to the impact of special consumption tax, car prices fluctuated strongly with the price of cars under 1.5 liters decreasing, cars over 2.5 liters increasing sharply. In particular, cars with engines of 6 liters or more increased in price more than double.
