(Baonghean.vn) - To serve the land acquisition and clearance of key projects, Vinh City has made plans and directed construction units to speed up progress and complete infrastructure construction of resettlement areas, contributing to stabilizing people's lives.

To implement the land clearance for the 72m road construction project, Mr. Tran Van Dinh's family in Mai Loc hamlet, Hung Dong commune has handed over the land for the project to a new place to live. To soon stabilize their residence, his family is urgently building a house in the Mai Loc resettlement area.

Mr. Tran Van Dinh shared: When we went to the resettlement area to receive land to build a house, we were very excited because this area is located in an open space, near the main road. Currently, the family is focusing on building a house on a campus of more than 100m2.2However, there is no clean water system here, we hope the city will soon connect and install a water system for the people.

The 72m road of the Vinh Urban Development Sub-project passes through the wards and communes of Quan Bau, Hung Dong (Vinh City) and Hung Tay (Hung Nguyen). In Mai Loc hamlet, Hung Dong commune alone, 1.79 hectares of residential land from 53 households must be recovered. To arrange resettlement, the city has planned to build the Mai Loc resettlement area on a total area of 3.3 hectares, of which 1.71 hectares of residential land with 112 plots of land, the remaining area is for construction of technical infrastructure items. Currently, many households have moved to new places, the city mobilized contractors to focus on completing technical infrastructure items.

In the Trung Thuan resettlement area, Hung Dong commune, there is an area of over 1.4 hectares, where over 90 households are resettled. Currently, although the infrastructure system is not yet completed, dozens of households have moved to build new homes. Many spacious high-rise buildings have sprung up, creating a new look for the resettlement area.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Director of An Phu Trading and Construction Company, the unit in charge of constructing the infrastructure of Trung Thuan resettlement area, said: The contractor is currently mobilizing machinery to complete the infrastructure. However, the construction of the resettlement area in parallel with people building houses, vehicles carrying soil and rocks have caused many difficulties for the construction unit, affecting the quality of the project.

To implement land acquisition and clearance for key projects, in 2016, Vinh City planned and built 8 resettlement areas, including 7 areas invested by Vinh City Land Fund Development Center in Hung Dong, Nghi An, Nghi Duc, and Hung Hoa.

The planned resettlement areas are located near the land acquisition area for the project to build the 72m Vinh - Hung Tay road and the 35m road connecting National Highway 46 with the Lam River road in the communes of Hung Dong, Nghi An, Nghi Duc, Hung Hoa. The entire resettlement areas have a total construction area of 11 hectares with over 600 residential plots including: Trung Thuan, Yen Binh, Mai Loc resettlement areas - Hung Dong commune; Kim My resettlement area - Nghi An commune; Xuan Dong, Xuan Hoa resettlement areas - Nghi Duc commune and Phong Khanh resettlement area - Hung Hoa commune.

Investment in the construction of resettlement areas is extremely urgent to meet the housing needs of families in the GPMB area. Currently, Vinh City is urging contractors to speed up the construction progress and complete the technical infrastructure system of the resettlement areas.

Mr. Hoang Hong Khanh - Head of Land Fund Exploitation Investment Department, Vinh City Land Fund Development Center said: With the consent and support of the people, although the resettlement area is in the stage of infrastructure construction, the people have agreed to hand over the land to build houses. We are urging contractors to speed up the construction progress and complete the technical infrastructure system.

However, currently, the areas have been installed with level 3 water pipes. Nghe An Water Supply Company needs to create conditions for contract procedures, complete meter installation, and connect water pipes to households./.
