According to Mr. Tran Van Tri - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, through initial epidemiological investigation, this patient rarely went out in the past 10 days, had little contact with other people and was isolated and treated.

Currently, local authorities are coordinating with functional forces to identify F1s related to the patient to send them to centralized quarantine.

On the morning of July 2, 2021, the patient went to Vinh City General Hospital for examination and was tested twice and found positive. A sample was then taken and sent to CDC for confirmation testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
