Vinh City locked down 48 households in Cua Nam ward related to new Covid-19 infection case

Information from the governmentCua Nam ward, Vinh City said that after a Covid-19 infection case was detected in the area, the locality set up a blockade around the patient's residence and tightened epidemic prevention and control measures.

Specifically, the locality has partially blocked off block 4, located on Ho Han Thuong street with a total of 48 households and 167 people.

According to Mr. Tran Van Tri - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, through initial epidemiological investigation, this patient rarely went out in the past 10 days, had little contact with other people and was isolated and treated.
Currently, local authorities are coordinating with functional forces to identify F1s related to the patient to send them to centralized quarantine.
Patient D.TS, female, born in 1978. Occupation: Housewife. Address: Block 4, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City. On July 1, the patient had symptoms of fever, body aches, and difficulty breathing. On the morning of July 2, 2021, the patient went to Vinh City General Hospital for examination and was tested twice and found positive. A sample was then taken and sent to CDC for confirmation testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
