Awarded 100 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses for martyrs' relatives in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 20, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with the leaders of Thanh Chuong district to present 100 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of martyrs in Thanh Tung and Ngoc Son communes.
Mrs. Phan Thi Chat (born in 1940) is the wife of martyr Nguyen Van Yen, in Hamlet 2, Thanh Tung Commune. When her husband died, Mrs. Chat stayed alone to take care of her parents-in-law. She lives in a dilapidated house, her family's circumstances are difficult, and she cannot afford to repair it.

The delegation also presented 50 million VND in support to the family of Mr. Le Xuan Tham (born in 1946), brother-in-law and worshiper of martyr Nguyen Dinh Em, in Lam Hong hamlet, Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district. Mr. Tham himself is a 4/4 war invalid.
