Awarded 160 million VND to support the construction of Great Solidarity House in Dien Chau
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 3, the Steering Committee for supporting the construction and repair of houses for poor households and households with difficult housing circumstances in Dien Chau district awarded 160 million VND to support the construction of "Great Unity" houses for 3 poor households in the district.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (over 70 years old) in Tan Chau hamlet, Dien Nguyen commune is in very difficult circumstances and lives in a house that has been damaged and degraded for a long time but does not have the ability to build a house.
With the spirit of helping each other, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district and commune called on the community to join hands to help the family. Workers and financial helpers have now completed and put into use after nearly 2 months of construction. The house is solidly built, with a tiled floor and an area of 45m2.2.… with a total construction cost of 120 million VND. Of which, the district housing construction support fund supported 50 million VND, departments, unions of Dien Nguyen commune and brothers, relatives, and neighbors supported working days and materials.
On the same day, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau district handed over 110 million VND to support the construction of "Great Unity" houses for the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Bau Xuan hamlet, Dien Doai commune (60 million VND) and the family of Mr. Tran Van Tao, Thinh My hamlet, Dien Thinh commune (50 million VND).
The Great Unity Houses have been built from the spirit of mutual love and sharing of the community. In the coming time, in Dien Chau, many Great Unity Houses will be built so that poor families can live in spacious and solid houses.
