Presenting 300 gifts to support flood victims in Tuong Duong and Anh Son
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share and support people affected by recent floods, on September 14, a working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society visited Tuong Duong and Anh Son districts to give gifts to affected people.
Accompanying the delegation were representatives of Nghe An Red Cross Society and representatives of the People's Committees of Tuong Duong and Anh Son districts.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 300 gifts including cash and instant noodles worth 200 million VND, donated by the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society to support flood victims in Nghe An.
Specifically, people affected by floods in Xa Luong, Luong Minh, Yen Na communes (Tuong Duong district) were supported with 200 meals, each worth 600,000 VND and 1 box of instant noodles.

During the recent flood, 323 households in Tuong Duong district had their houses swept away, collapsed or forced to relocate, and 10 communes in Anh Son district were flooded, causing damage of hundreds of billions of VND.
Although the number of gifts is not much, it is the heart of businesses and philanthropists to support people in the Central region in general and Nghe An in particular to reduce difficulties, stabilize and gradually improve their lives./.
