Handing over the minutes of agreement on agricultural development cooperation in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for the implementation of the "Technical Cooperation Project on Agricultural Development Planning in Nghe An", on the afternoon of October 26, under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the expert delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) led by Mr. Yamamoto Satoshi - Senior Advisor of JICA Vietnam Office.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged the minutes of agreement between the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Technical Cooperation project on Planning for Agricultural Development in Nghe An.

Accordingly, the project will develop a "Master Plan for Agricultural Development in Nghe An" and an "Action Plan" to achieve the goals of the master plan, conduct testing and pilot activities such as studying the current status of seed and plant variety development, collection and transportation, trading, purchasing and exporting each type of crop and livestock in the province, organizing agricultural product exhibitions, organizing conferences to exchange opinions on market demand for crops and livestock, etc.
