Vietnam Cultural Journalism Awards 2025 tonight, November 6
Taking place at Hoan Kiem Theater, the event honored outstanding journalistic works from 1,040 entries, affirming the role of journalism in the cultural cause.
On the evening of November 6, 2025, the Third National Press Awards Ceremony “For the Development of Vietnamese Culture” will take place at the Hoan Kiem Theater. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, aims to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of journalists and press agencies across the country.
The scale and appeal of the award
In just nearly 4 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 1,040 press works from central and local news agencies as of August 10, 2025. This number shows the deep interest of the press team in the fields of culture, information, sports, tourism and family, especially in the context that press agencies are in the process of streamlining their apparatus.
The award recognizes the efforts of media agencies in spreading cultural values, contributing to the implementation of the manifesto of action: "Culture is the foundation - Information is the conduit - Sports is the strength - Tourism is the connecting bridge".
122 excellent works entered the final round
After an independent and impartial evaluation process, the Preliminary Subcommittees selected 122 best works to enter the final round. The works are allocated according to specific types of journalism as follows:
- Print: 25 works
- Electronic newspaper: 30 works
- Radio: 22 works
- Television: 25 works
- Photojournalism: 20 works
Prestigious award structure
At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee will announce and honor the individuals and groups that won awards in 5 journalism categories. Each category will have a prize structure including:
- 1 First Prize
- 3 Second Prizes
- 5 Third Prizes
- 10 Consolation Prizes
In addition, there will be 3 collective awards given to press agencies with many high-quality entries and winning high prizes.
