Awarding ceremony of the 2024 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Contest of the Party Committee of the Agencies of Nghe An province

On the morning of May 19, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies Bloc organized the Final Round of the 2024 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Competition.

Attending the contest were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies. Also attending were comrades representing leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The 2024 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Contest, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies will organize the basic round from March 2024. In April 2024, the preliminary round will be organized in 3 clusters.

In the preliminary round: 51/51 candidates completed the general knowledge test in the form of multiple choice tests on computers.

For the two parts: Self-introduction, Situation Handling Competition of the Preliminary Round, it was divided into 3 groups in 3 days of April 19, 20, 21, 2024, with 47 contestants participating. The Organizing Committee of the Contest awarded 3 First prizes; 6 Second prizes; 9 Third prizes and 12 Encouragement prizes to excellent contestants and unanimously selected 9 contestants to compete in the final round at the Party Committee level.

According to the Organizing Committee, through the rounds, the contestants participated with enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility. In the competition, many contestants prepared carefully, thoughtfully, creatively, and vividly with many forms such as introduction through slides, skits, performances, and clips.

Candidates have applied information technology to the maximum in the competition, creating professionalism, attraction, modernity and richness. At the same time, they demonstrated their mettle, flexible management skills, sharp situation handling skills, scientific working methods and flexibility in solving arising problems.

Many contestants demonstrated their awareness, sense of responsibility, qualifications, capacity and deep understanding of the Party's regulations and Charter, leaving a deep impression on the judges and a large number of cadres and party members who participated in the cheering. The contest created conditions for party cell secretaries to exchange and learn from each other's experiences, contributing to the good performance of their assigned duties and tasks.

Besides, many Party committees are very interested in and accompany the candidates, sending cadres and Party members to actively and enthusiastically encourage and support the candidates to complete the exams well.

The new feature of this contest is the issue of digitalization and application of information technology, from the development of software for the contests, candidates taking multiple-choice tests on computers, quickly, promptly, accurately, diversifying propaganda work, propaganda forms,... demonstrating the professionalism, responsibility, and capacity of the staff, civil servants of the Party Committee of the Block, and the departments assigned tasks in serving the contest.

The preparation of facilities, equipment, and conditions for the Contest is basically thoughtful, collaborative, and coordinated effectively.

Speaking at the conclusion of the contest, comrade Hoang Van Nhien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc emphasized: The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc organized the Contest for Excellent Party Cell Secretaries in 2024 with the goal of creating a wide-ranging political activity within the Party Committee, thereby wishing to convey the message of improving knowledge, skills, and working methods for the team of Party cell secretaries, spreading throughout the Party Committee the spirit of working in accordance with the regulations and Charter of the Party in a professional manner.

Through the contest, the contestants demonstrated a spirit of responsible participation, enthusiasm, and exploration, demonstrated their mettle, intelligence, and skills, and demonstrated their ability to lead, manage, and advise on Party building work in practice.

At the same time, through the contest, contestants, Party committees at all levels as well as the audience had the opportunity to exchange and learn experiences, contributing to the good performance of assigned duties and tasks.

This is a practical activity towards the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2024).

At the end of the conference, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 3 Consolation Prizes.
