Over 18 million VND given to the family of a victim killed by lightning
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 20, representatives of philanthropists and the Women's Association of Thung Mon hamlet, Dong Van commune (Tan Ky) visited and gave gifts to the family of Mr. Ngan Van Hao in Thung Mon hamlet, whose wife was struck by lightning and died during the heavy rain on May 11.
On May 11, while leading her cows in the rain, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa in Thung Mon hamlet, Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district was struck and killed by lightning. The young mother passed away at the age of 29, leaving behind her husband, two young children and great pain for those left behind.

On this occasion, philanthropists and the Women's Association of Thung Mon hamlet visited, encouraged and gave more than 18 million VND to the family (of which, philanthropists donated 3 million VND to Tran Thi Luong's account, 11,200,000 VND to Nguyen Thi Thanh's account; and 4,470,000 VND to the Women's Association of Thung Mon hamlet) to encourage the family to try to overcome the pain and loss.
