Donated over 93 million VND to help poor families in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share the difficult situation of Mr. Tran Van Tuong's family in Thanh Mai commune (Thanh Chuong) whose son is hospitalized due to a traffic accident, many kind-hearted people inside and outside the district have called for donations and help.
Mr. Tuong's family in Mai Dinh hamlet, Thanh Mai commune is in a particularly difficult situation. His wife is suffering from rectal cancer. The second child (18 years old) and the youngest child (10 years old) both have lupus erythematosus. The youngest child also has autism and cannot take care of himself. Every month, both children have to go to the National Children's Hospital for examination and treatment. His father (90 years old) after having a stroke can only sit in one place.

On the morning of May 8, his eldest son, Mr. Tran Van Bang (21 years old), was in a traffic accident on the way to take his sister home from school in Thanh Giang commune, suffering from a collapsed face, broken jaw, chipped cervical vertebrae, eye and brain injuries, etc. He was taken to the emergency room in critical condition. Mr. Bang is currently being treated at the Emergency Room - Nghe An General Hospital.
Mr. Tuong's family was already poor. Over the past time, he was exhausted from taking care of his wife and children. Now that his son had an accident, the difficulties have increased.
To help Mr. Tuong's family, the Thanh Chuong 2 Compatriots group, teachers from Thanh Mai Secondary School, Dang Thai Mai High School, Thanh Mai Commune Women's Union, and several volunteer groups... have called for donations.
On the morning of May 10, at Nghe An General Hospital, representatives of the Thanh Chuong 2 Compatriots group presented Mr. Tuong's family with more than 93 million VND donated by fellow countrymen.
