Giving gifts to poor and disadvantaged children on the occasion of Children's Day June 1
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 1, on the occasion of the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2018, agencies, units and localities in the province organized to give gifts of encouragement to poor, disadvantaged and disabled children with good academic achievements.
* Giving 30 gifts to disabled children and orphans:
On the morning of June 1, on the occasion of the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2018, the People's Committee and the Children's Protection Association of Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town presented gifts to orphans, disabled children, and poor children.

At the ceremony, the Nghi Tan Ward Children's Protection Association launched the 2018 Action Month for Children with the theme "For a safe and healthy life for children in the digital world". Accordingly, the activities in the month will focus on promoting propaganda on the Law on Children and the Party's policies and the State's laws related to children. The aim is to create a strong change in awareness and action in the work of protecting, caring for and educating children.
On this occasion, Nghi Tan Ward Children's Protection Association presented 30 gifts to orphans, disabled children and poor children in the ward.

* Hoang Mai Town Police:
On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 and Action Month for Children 2018, Hoang Mai Town Police organized a visit and gave gifts to orphans and disabled children at Thien An Shelter, Block 7, Xuan An Parish, Quynh Xuan Ward, Hoang Mai Town. This place is currently taking care of and raising 22 children with congenital disabilities and orphans in and outside the town.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to children with special difficulties who are striving to excel in their studies in the communes of Quynh Vinh, Quynh Loc, Quynh Lap and Quynh Phuong ward. Hopefully, the small gifts will help the children have more determination to overcome difficulties and excel in life.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1. Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with local authorities and schools in the area to give gifts to poor students and disabled students who have overcome difficulties to study well in the area.

On this occasion, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station presented 10 gifts to 10 disadvantaged students and disabled students who overcame difficulties to study well in the area on the occasion of the 2017-2018 school year summary. This is a practical activity to encourage the students to strive to study better in the coming time.

* Tan Ky Medical Center:
On the morning of June 1, Tan Ky District Medical Center organized the giving of 50 gifts to sick children receiving inpatient treatment, newborn babies, and 286 gifts to children of staff working at the center.

Accordingly, 50 cases of seriously ill children, families with difficult circumstances and newborn babies received gifts including milk, cakes and cash with a total amount of more than 3 million VND; 286 gifts were given to children of staff and employees in the entire hospital.
On this occasion, the Union and the Youth Union of the Medical Center also coordinated to organize the program "Happy Children's Day" for the children being treated here. Responding to the Month of Action for Children and International Children's Day on June 1, Youth Union organizations in Anh Son district have organized many practical activities to care for children, especially children in difficult circumstances.

From May 31 to June 1, the Business Bloc Youth Union and its affiliated Youth Unions throughout the district visited and presented gifts to 22 children in especially difficult circumstances in communes and towns, supported by the units, with a total value of 13,200,000 VND.
Visiting and giving gifts are maintained and organized regularly by units to encourage their spirit as well as support the children in part of their lives.

On this occasion, the District Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans presented 20 gifts to disabled and orphaned children in especially difficult circumstances in the district, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
This is an annual activity of the District Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans to share and encourage families in difficult circumstances to improve their lives.
