Giving gifts to families with meritorious services, supporting the poor to celebrate Tet in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 1, in many localities, many units and organizations continued to have activities to help the poor celebrate Tet.
Nghia Dan District People's Committeevisited and gave gifts to martyr Nguyen Thi Binh's mother (94 years old), in hamlet 15, Nghia Trung commune.

Mother Nguyen Thi Binh has martyr Nguyen Van Binh, who died in 1972 during the resistance war against the US to save the country. Currently, her family is a near-poor household. With the philosophy of "When drinking water, remember its source", the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district takes care of her and regularly visits, encourages, helps and gives her gifts when she is sick and on holidays and Tet.
Nghia Lam Kindergarten (Nghia Dan)visited, encouraged and gave 5 million VND to the family of Nguyen Thi Duyen (5 years old), a student of the school, the amount was donated and supported by staff and teachers in the school.
Nguyen Thi Duyen is in a very difficult situation. Her father, Nguyen Trong Hai, was in a traffic accident and is currently bedridden. Her grandfather has passed away, her grandmother has breast cancer, and her younger sibling is only 3 years old.

The Association has given 4 million VND in cash to the family of Ms. Bui Thi Duan in Thanh Yen commune, Thanh Chuong district - a particularly difficult situation reflected in the article "Woman raising husband and 4 sick children" published in Nghe An newspaper on October 9, 2018.
In addition, the association also gave 11 million VND to a family in Thanh Dong commune (Thanh Chuong) whose child died in Taiwan and 4 million VND to a family in difficult circumstances in Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district. These are gifts donated by Nghe An workers in Taiwan in the recent past, to share and encourage families in difficult circumstances in the province during the Lunar New Year.

The delegation presented 10 gifts to 10 families who are beneficiaries of social welfare and poor households, each gift worth 700,000 VND. In addition, authorized by the Military Region 4 Command, the delegation also presented gifts from the Military Region Command to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Tan in Nam Tan Commune.
