Giving gifts and wheelchairs to 442 disabled people in Yen Thanh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Vietnam's Day for People with Disabilities, April 18, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Thien Quang Pagoda in Binh Duong Province and benefactors to present gifts and wheelchairs to 442 disabled people in Yen Thanh District.
On this occasion, 42 severely disabled people were presented with a wheelchair and 200,000 VND in cash each.

On the same day, the delegation presented 400 gifts (each gift included cash and necessities, worth 500,000 VND); with a total value of over 271 million VND to 400 disabled people in especially difficult circumstances in 8 communes in Yen Thanh district: Quang Thanh, Tay Thanh, Lang Thanh, Phu Thanh, Thinh Thanh, Hong Thanh, Minh Thanh, Tien Thanh; helping them have the opportunity to improve their lives.
This is an activity in response to the Humanitarian Month with the theme “Connect, share and spread”. It is known that the Red Cross Associations at all levels in Nghe An province strive to give from 12,000 to 16,000 gifts during the Humanitarian Month./.
